We did have one pair who had travelled just over 6.000 miles from Durban in South Africa, although maybe the Worsley Mixed Open was not the main reason for their journey to the UK. Simon Draycott (14) partnered Rebecca Posser (20) and they shared joint 9th place with 40 points.

A Caretaking / Cleaning Job has become available at Worsley Golf Club.

A Caretaking / Cleaning Job has become available at Worsley Golf Club.

It is a permanent job for 4 hours per day, seven days a week (7.00 am to 11.00 am) paying £9.50 per hour.  We envisage the hours being split between two people who will share the job. This will allow for holidays and any necessary time away from work.

The job will involve cleaning the club house and preparing it for the events of the coming day. This will entail moving tables and chairs to the required places and on occasions laying down and taking up the wooden blocks which form the dance floor. The ability to carry out small maintenance jobs would be a bonus and the worker(s) will also be responsible for ordering cleaning products when needed.

We are looking for two people who are reliable, trustworthy and hard working.

If you are interested’ please contact the Club Secretary on telephone 0161 789 4202 or by email to  Alternative Mobile - 07951419848
