As part of the 125th Anniversary Year Worsley Golf Club will be putting on a "Trick Shot Sunday" starring Paul Barrington - not long ago Paul was the World Champion Tick Shot Specialist and held the record for the longest drive.
Everyone is invited to come to the club on Sunday 28th April. The event is due to start at 10.30 am. Members and guests are invited to make a donation of £5 to the Club Development Fund and this will entitle them to write their names on one or more of the balls which Paul will be driving down the course. There is a supply of balls in the sweetie jar in Andy's shop (or on the bar) or members can put in one of their own golf balls with their name on it. A Magnum of Champagne will be awarded to the owner of the ball which is the Longest Drive. For just a £1 donation, members and guests can predict what will be the Longest Putt - names to go on the sheet in the Pro's shop.
